'Words: Past, Present & Future'. The Society of Northumbrian Scribes Annual Exhibition.

Photographs from the opening of the Northumbrian Scribes exhibition Words: Past, Present & Future at Bede’s World on 5 September. The exhibition closes on 30 September, so hurry up if you want to see some excellent calligraphy!

 

After the official exhibition opening, there was also time for members to see more of the 'Letters after Lindisfarne' artworks. These are around 200 calligraphic pieces produced by calligraphers from around the UK, and will eventually be bound into one book.
